Here is some info about the website;


News

On the main page there are news displayed. All TGS members can submit their own news from the Submit News page. The news will be sent to an administrator who will then decide if it should get posted on the site.


Events Calendar & Forum

There is an Events Calendar in the Members section of the site. This is where we will post player events that TGS will attend to.

All events that are announced in the Events Forum will be added to the Events Calendar.

Syntax events will be posted in GMT by standard, Recursion events will be posted in PST (GMT - by standard.


Downloads

There is a Downloads section on the site where you can download useful stuff for MxO. Currently there are blip files and the ability tree from the old site, but if you have something that should be added to the Downloads section, use the Uploader. Like submitting news, all uploads have to be authorized by an administrator.


Gallery

All TGS members can upload images to the Gallery. We're currently trying to add a Screenshot of The Day plugin to the site.


IRC

We have added an IRC Java Applet to the site, so you can stay on the website and chat in IRC in our #tgs channel. This isn't mIRC so you do not need a client, you only need Java.


News Feed

On the bottom left of the website, we have a News Feed which displays all news headlines from Data Node 1.

The news automatically update several times a day, so you can keep up to date directly from the TGS website. Click a news headline for a direct link to the news item on Data Node 1.


Oh and one last thing - All BBcode has been altered on the forum, which means you'll have to go to your profile and fix the code in your signature if you previously used BBcode.
