It seems a lot of people have been having problems with posting logs written in word lately.
You know what that means... WORD LOG CONVERSION TOOL!
Get cracking. _________________

Are you kidding? It's Microsoft's fault for not adhering to standards. Use something other than Word. _________________

Ah-hah!
I did a bit of testing, and tried to copy and paste from Word myself. Submitting it via Opera and Mozilla actually worked, but submitting it via IE failed.
However, when I say 'worked', I mean it worked in Opera and Mozilla. When I submitted it in IE it failed in Opera and Mozilla, but worked in IE! So whichever browser you submit it in will be the browser that later renders the page correctly.
It's all because of character sets: Opera and Mozilla render the site in UTF-8, and therefore submit content in that set. IE, on the other hand, renders it in ISO, because the site tells it to (IE doesn't tell the site that it accepts UTF-8, so the site has to assume that the browser sucks and tells it to use ISO).
However, this still doesn't solve the problem. To generate special characters on the site you're supposed to follow the formatting rules, which will generate the characters appropriate for all browsers all the time. By specifying the special characters yourself (e.g. by pasting from Word), you're limiting the text to a specific character set, which is going to cause problems.
So follow the rules, for God's sake. _________________

What about a feature to show all journals in the calendar view?
Currently it's only possible to open this view only for one specific member. _________________

I think you also need to implement a way of imputting images into logs as it doesn't work (or didn't when I tried) and my best log happened to have 4 images in it. _________________

You don't use a closing bracket for images in XHTML. You are, however, supposed to close the tag within the original one:
<img src="http://blahblah" width="" height="" alt="" />
Notice the slash at the end.
I do mean to add a special syntax to insert images. I'll probably get that done next week, when I'm back at home.
As for seeing all journal entries on one calendar page, that's a little fiddly. Because they appear as just highlighted numbers, it's impossible to tell whose journal they belong to until you click on them. I could add a layer that pops up and tells you the name of the author, but I'm not adding any Javascript or AJAX until the rest of the site's done. _________________

I think it doesn't matter that you can't see who wrote the entry, it's just important that there is one on that day. Currently the on-going story, where member logs depend from each other are hard to read, because i need to click on every member to see where the next entry is :/
A list with all journal entries sorted by date would do the job as well _________________

You could of course read the thread, rather than the seperate logs in the journals. _________________

Hehe yeah I've done so But do you really want to post every story 2 or more times? A system like the suggested would make such forum threads worthless. And that's the intention _________________
