I could also use a little avatar help.

Currently, planned avatar hosted at:
http://figmentoyi.myphotoalbum.com/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album01&id=FigmentOYI3

Every time I try to upload it, I get told that the URL is invalid. Any ideas?

Cheers
Figment

You need to use this url:

http://images.myphotoalbum.com/f/fi/fig/figm/figme/figmentoyi/albums/album01/FigmentOYI3.sized.jpg

Which will display the avatar like this:

The links you're using for images are links to the host, not just the image.
In windows, rightclick the image, then click on Preferences (I think)...
It's the lowest clickable-thing on the rightclick-list.
There's an url in the window that pops up, that's the one you need.

(gah sorry for the shitty explanation, but it's a LOT easier on mac Razz)

If you want to display an image properly, always make sure the url ends with either .jpg .png or .bmp (usually).

Sorry d4sh. That only seems to work when I'm actively logged in to myphotobucket. Have a look at what's in your post now.

Damn... any other suggestions?

My images are on photobucket Fig. Try copying the link they give you under each pic (I don't know which will work: URL, Tag or Img) into the path for your avatar in your profile. That should work.
