Yeah, totally. Reevy and I originally came up with the concept, actually. _________________

I was never able to reconcile some of the seemingly contradictory bits of quantum theory, especially how photons aren't subject to relativity laws. And I didn't study it in school - I just read books like "In Search of Schrödinger's Cat." So I'm certainly no expert. _________________

Generally, it's the idea that everything's.. relative. If I'm driving in a car at 80 km/h down the road and see a car coming in the opposite direction going 80 km/h, we're moving at about 160 km/h relative to each other... and several thousands of km/h relative to the sun... and millions of km/h or more relative to the center of the galaxy... etc.
But no matter how fast you go - even 99.9999% the speed of light - a photon always looks like it is moving at the speed of light towards or away from you. Something about not being subject to time itself. _________________
