Yeah, unfortunately with the new information that's come out about the white hallway / meeting room thing it turns out that the whole thing is gonna be useless.
The key to the room costs 100 million influence. The meeting room is a mission area - which means only six people at a time, and after about half an hour or so agents come and kill you.
We'd be better off meeting at a club or rooftop somewhere. _________________

Is the key infinite use? _________________ My website |

30minutes and 6 people yes...
...but remember those club hel parties?
with some more players than 6, and a bit longer than 30 minutes...
...and the key has infinite uses, yes. _________________

Yeah, but can't we do what people do to get into Club Hel? Someone starts a mission with the key and takes someone with Recall Something, who then teleports as many people as they want into the area. _________________

Yeah, I read a brilliant post by someone one Rarebits thread that just about summed it up:

Hmm, how much is in the faction bank right now? If you release 40 million or so I'll be happy to use the 60 million I've got in my inventory to buy the faction key. _________________ New ST site :: New ST Forums

I'm betting d4sh has 100 mil by himself. Little git.
We could do with a proper bank system with interest earned over time. Turn my long absences into profit! _________________

There's 41,5mil in the factionbank or so.
I have around 36mil myself, it's not becoming more or less since I don't do anything that involves making or spending money. (except for the music-trivia last night which gained me 5mil) _________________

Sorted, that works out just right then. At least we'll have one key in the faction that way. _________________ New ST site :: New ST Forums

*has 90mil which can buy the key if he gets a little bit more*
Of course, that would require me getting special rights
It would be nice though if every crew had atleast one key, so that we could organize crew meetings that way... _________________ My website |

Plus, that would also mean the key-keepers in each crew would be able to let their crew in, so that should probably keep down the troubles of having to do the 'join mission team-recall-leave mission team' thing. _________________ My website |

Actually, if we were using two different keys, that'd give us two different constructs. So half the faction would be in one instnce of that hallways, while half the faction would be in the other.
Where the hell have you been anyway Frayjack _________________ New ST site :: New ST Forums
