I do a little acting and tech stuff for plays, mostly musicals on my free time, aswell as play with my band, although that's not really a living. I'm about to graduate from school, getting my BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) and crossing the atlantic to get into the game development business.

SOE don't have any openings Crying or Very sad

It's a good thing I can't be arsed with consoles. Razz (Except for the PSP. If I have some money left over after my PC upgrade, I'm getting a white one. Very Happy)

I sell cell phones for T-Mobile. Easy money.

Btw, Proc. Since you're our resident compuational cosmologist whatzit, can you tell me what the hell Calabi-Yau space is? I've come across the term multiple times tied to references about mulitple universes, and have exactly no idea what it means. And d4sh, love the suit.

Sorry Prod, I haven't done anything nearly that advanced yet. Wink Maybe next year (final year of my masters), but I doubt it. I'd like to know the details as well, 'cos I heard of it in Half-Life 2. Razz

I'm finishing my first year of a computing degree and several modules involving paranormal psychology and paranormal investigation... makes you think why i even bother talking really, yep you can laugh now i'm crazy and don't really have much to do. Laughing

D4sh, the suit really doesn't suit you.

Prodigel... i took time out and found out what Calabi-Yau space is for you (the wonders of a library)....

A type of mathematical space that enters into string theory, where the geometry of the Universe is held to consist of at least 10 dimensions – the four familiar dimensions of spacetime and six compact dimensions of Calabi-Yau space. These extra dimensions are so tightly curled up that they aren't noticed. Although the main application of Calabi-Yau spaces is in theoretical physics, they are also interesting from a purely mathematical standpoint.

I had to break it down a bit

Oh, I've heard of that idea. Didn't associate a name to it, though. Wink

I'm an auditor, who works for the 2nd biggest auditing firm in the world. That counts as two jobs, for those of you yobb-ish enough not to know that Very Happy.

Just BTW, Proc... my partner is also a computational physicist.

And if I'd been a little quicker, I'd have got the definition of Calabi-Yau space down <grin>. Incidentally, it's used more in Maths than in Physics.
