Even with a rotator, the faction needs to be referenced (in a visual way, not just a link) on a permanent basis. You, for example, have the tiny GS button above your rotator.

Those buttons are pretty useful, however, probably not for everyone. Since my sigs are 500x120 I have room for the buttons. But for everyone else, it would result in their sigs being chopped at the bottom.
Speaking of which, has the sig length for this forum been extended yet? as it is, I can't update my sig to the graphical buttons.

Here you go, lad:

Now, that's a Fireworks PNG file. If you open it in Fireworks you'll get to use the vector-based shapes that make up the 'GS', and you can whatever you want with them.
Open it in any other program, and you'll just see the image that they create. The symbols are white on a black background, though, so you can probably still extract their shapes somehow.
