Sigs on DN1

As also mentioned in 'B3AR's sig' I just realised something,
of which I'm guilty myself too since this week.

On DN1, many of us are using either several sigs (rotator, Tax),
a new one every few weeks (that would be me :p), a nice one made in paint (Olink),
or like today I saw B3AR's sig, with no text/logo on it at all.
All great sigs, really, but something is off...

So erm... I'd like to get some opinions of course,
but I personally think we should go back to agreeing on at least
using the text "The Glitch Society" somewhere or the "GS" logo
(which is GS because the T in that type of font looks really crappy).

I for one will edit my anniversary sig today.


(I may have missed some sigs, but I could remember these while typing this thread)

My sig has had the 'GS' in it for ages.

A agree, though: we do need our faction mentioned in our sigs. I'm against enforced faction sigs or even crew sigs (people should have the choice), but a little GS isn't too much to ask.

Incidentally, if anyone wants a vector version of the GS (easier to do things in Fireworks, at least - I don't know how Photoshop deals with vectors) I made one when I did the new site design.

I'll stick a TGS themed one into my rotator but slapping it on every sig will make several of them look... well crappy.

Tax, you could consider creating some sort of button for next to the
other buttons where it's made clear you're a TGS-member, no?

I didn't say it had to be the logo, Tax.
You could think of a way to make a button with 'TGS' on it, no?

Just a reminder to make sure everyone has the faction referenced in some way in their signature image. (Unless they're part of another faction, I guess, in which case they should have both factions mentioned or none at all.)

I only thought of this 'cos d4sh is guilty of it again on DN1.

Can't add the logo to the MegaCity Times -signature,
so might switch back and add it to the sexy-shirt sig.

They won't let you add the logo? There's enough space.

Or just have them make a sort image for the MCT, like the one for SI in my sig, and bung it under your normal image.
